  1. Hi Folks
We are having a great time. The dedication this morning was really special. Can’t believe that our time at the building site has come to an end. Uganda is incredible. It has definitely touched me, and as they say I will be leaving part of me here when we finally leave. Can’t believe we have already almost been here a week and we only have a week and a half left here. The guest house is amazing.
It was a very special time for me this morning dedicating a house that I had been involved in building when it was the anniversary of my Grandad’s death today and he was a builder. Quite a touching tribute to him really.
The people here are so friendly. And so helpful – nothing seems to be a bother to them.
Am looking forward to Safari and then Gulu. Can’t wait.
    Amanda :)

  2. Hi all,

Great to hear the dedication went well and as i remember well, it is an emotional time knowing that you have used your hands to help the future of Uganda’s children.

I let peolpe know what time the dedication was so we could pray with you, however you got stuck in a traffic jam and were an hour later then i said to the NZ prayers. But as i said to Pete W all our prayers are lifted to God ana heard even if we were slightly out in timing.

Enjoy the rest of your travels. Gulu will be really special place it bet.

    Will love Robyn

  3. Hi Amanda and Jeremy
    Jase here…
Sounds like you are having a fantastic time. You have dedicated a significant portion of your holiday time to helping someone in greater need – a truly remarkable piece of generosity. I am sure at times you would have wished to be elsewhere – perhaps at home reading a book or down the lake relaxing on a beach (which you may be able to use your new found skill at) but I am sure now and in years to come you will reflect on this time as a milestone in your life with Jeremy and as a Christian.

Sounds like you have a fantastic adventure ahead of you – something to look forward to. I look forward to seeing the photos when we visit you and Jeremy in Greymouth.

You, Jeremy and your team continue to be in my and Tami’s prayers.

    Lots of Love
    Jase and Tami
